Whether you’re shopping for new clothes at Swiff in Five Points and bump into The Swiff Bar, or you’re picking out a few indoor plants to spruce up your home at Gardener’s Outpost in Cottontown and spot the wine bar, there are several spots around the Soda City that offer the unexpected.
Maybe it’s the caffeine you need, something cold to beat the heat, or a tasty weekend treat while you browse the market, one of these will surely brighten your day. After-all, we do love a tasty beverage. |

Drip Coffee, 729 Saluda Ave. | Drip Coffee is one of Cola’s most well-known spots for coffee, but they also offer an extensive selection of vinyl records in the back. We think the Lavender Matcha Lemonade pairs well with record browsing on a hot day. Gardener’s Outpost, 1211 Franklin St. | Since opening earlier this year, Gardener’s Outpost has transformed the garden center into a multi-purpose space hosting live music, yoga classes, and serving wine all-day from the bar inside.
Lowe’s Foods, 4711 Forest Dr. | You'll notice a convenient cupholder for your bev from the Beer Den, wine bar, or Boxcar Coffee as you grab your buggy at Lowe’s Foods. The grocery store offers daily specials and a rotating cast of beers on tap.
NoMa Flea, 2222 Sumter St. | Grab a cold beer from Charleston-based Westbrook Brewing as you browse through the market that takes place every Friday night from 6-9 p.m. + features a variety of local vendors.
Soda City Market, 1300-1600 Main St. | The weekly Saturday morning market on Main Street features more than six coffee vendors, along with a wide variety of other beverages. If your mood calls for bubble tea, lemonade, or kombucha, one of the ~150 vendors will have you covered.
Swiff, 736 Harden St. | The hip bar inside Swiff offers a variety of coffee beverages, beer, and wine. The store also offers after-hours events, including a brunch with endless mimosas on May 28.
