The historical buildings (constructed in the 1920s) at 1209 and 1211 Gadsden St. were recently renovated to offer the Soda City live and work units.

- A new music event space named Nobodies is coming soon to Barnwell Street, in the renovated garage space next to Midtown Fellowship. - Richland School District Two + Providence Health are growing the partnership to work with students inside medical facilities. The curriculum was established in 2017 and explores medical and health science career opportunities with 4 schools and has since worked with 3,600 students. (The Post and Courier)

- Immersion is accepting applications for artists who are interested in creating new immersive art spaces on Main Street. Proposals are due by June 30. 🎨
WaterCooler
- Last week, AC Flora High School won the Class 4A state title for baseball, defeating James Island 10-0. This win makes 7 state championships for the school since 2001. ⚾ (The State)

- Chapin Middle School student Wyatt Brooks made improvements to Chapin Elementary School’s playground to complete his Eagle Scout project. The community helped with the improvements, which included repainting + adding games like hopscotch, four square, and 2 sandboxes to the playground. (Cola Daily)

- DHEC is creating a new task force called SHaPE SC to strengthen the health and promote the environment. The task force will work to evaluate the state’s health and environmental protective services + have representation from a variety of stakeholders, including colleges, hospitals, and advocacy groups. - The anniversary Drip Coffee in Five Points will be celebrating on Wed., June 9. The local coffee shop will have live music + half-price coffee and espresso drinks. ☕
